Royal Bank of Scotland

THE BRIEF

When RBS acquired ABN AMRO Bank in 2007 there was a requirement to connect the two banks internally via an intranet. Bond Media was awarded the contract to create the bespoke intranet which was the main point of call for internal members of staff to gather and view information about the merger process.

The intranet featured a bespoke CMS that enabled staff to manage all the content. This also included an interactive timeline providing information on the progress of the merger. A weekly poll was also available to gather feedback from staff on internal matters.

FEATURE

Intranet Development

As the intranet was restricted to internal use we could not use Google Analytics to track the usage. It was required to build a bespoke Analytics Stats module that reported on the statistics, this also allowed separating users from ABN AMRO and RBS to see which division was more active.

Bespoke Analytics

Bond Media have been fantastic throughout the development of our site.
