The intranet featured a bespoke CMS that enabled staff to manage all the content. This also included an interactive timeline providing information on the progress of the merger. A weekly poll was also available to gather feedback from staff on internal matters.
As the intranet was restricted to internal use we could not use Google Analytics to track the usage. It was required to build a bespoke Analytics Stats module that reported on the statistics, this also allowed separating users from ABN AMRO and RBS to see which division was more active.
