Pro bono website work

For the past few years we have chosen one registered charity or good cause and developed and designed a pro bono website.  We are extremely proud that we can help a charity or a good cause that may be just starting out and doesn’t have funding to get itself online and raise its awareness.  To be able to offer our services in such a way and give something back makes us very happy.

In 2012 our chosen charity was LearnBurma .  We were contacted by Ben Hammond, a tutu wearing teacher from London, who set up this registered charity after he spent a year teaching in a refugee camp on the Thai-Burma border.  Upon his return he was determined to use his freedom to help those in Burma get theirs.    He came up with the idea of Dance Britain For Burma, a fundraising and awareness raising campaign, where he would be dancing his way from John O’Groats to Land’s End.  He needed a website to help him document this never-been-done-before dance across Britain and at the same time raise awareness for what he was doing.

In 2013 we awarded the pro bono website to The Aqua Initiative  We were contacted by Edward Pollock, a young student, who emailed us about the work he was doing around the world helping individuals without clean water and sanitation, suffering from the effects of the World Water Crisis.  Edward told us that the aim was to raise funds and awareness of the cause, to make a global impact and contribute to hopefully ending the crisis.  We were so impressed with him and his idea that we were more than happy to get involved with such an amazing charity.

For  2015/2016 we selected  Life Guardians are a community of Old Millhillians who are stakeholders in the Foundation. They take an active interest in supporting the Court of Governors and the Heads of the Foundation Schools and contribute to the progress and success of the Foundation.

2018’s good cause has already been selected, so we are asking you guys to help us find 2019’s charity.

We can’t wait to hear from you and get started on our next pro bono website. You can apply by emailing
